Runners take your marks!!
As we count down the last few days until the TEAMCOOK ‘Goode Run 2011, we wanted to send out a quick reminder regarding some housekeeping issues for race day.
- You can pick up your t-shirts and personalized bibs (Family 2k bibs only) on Friday from 6pm-8pm at The Osgoode Youth Association (OYA) at 5479 Osgoode Main St or Saturday morning anytime after 8am. Timing chips for 5K & 10K runners can be picked up on Saturday morning only at the OYA Centre.
- The 2k Family Walk/Run starts at 9am. The 5k Race starts at 10:15am and the 10k Race Starts at 11am. Regardless of your event’s start or finish time, please come early or stick around and support all the participants!
- We will have one water station on the 5k route and two water stations on the 10k route. We will also be providing post-race water and fresh fruit for all competitors. Snacks and drinks (Gatorade, pop, home baked goods, granola bars, etc) will also be available for a nominal charge. If you are interested in staying for lunch, O So Good BBQ will be open across the street from the OYA Centre with their tasty offerings available.
- There will also be event photography provided by Steve Roberts (www.styvesphotos.com). He will be taking general event photos as well as finish line photos. Check back to his site after the race and he will have photos searchable by bib number. If you choose to purchase any of his race day work, Steve has generously offered to donate 50% of his proceeds to OYA. Thanks Steve!
- Please remember as well that there will be no parking at OYA but there will be on-street parking in the Village. If you do live in Osgoode, please help us relieve any congestion by coming to the event on foot.
